Markham Pedistrian Day Summer 2009

Pedestrians enjoying our Films Screening Our Films

We were out in force in July at the Markham Pedestrian Day in Markham Ontario. We had 3 of our films playing for passers by to watch as we answered questions about how the films were made and enjoyed lively discussion about water pollution in the great lakes after many passers by over heard our ‘Mercury Rising’ documentary.

We also took a bunch of orders for websites. There were alot of small businesses and artists who were thinking of making the jump to the web but never got around to looking into what it would take to do it. We answered their questions about making an online solution for them and many decided now was the right time to move ahead.

If you’re looking to expand online, or just give your site an updated look and feel, now is a great time. Contact us about our end of summer deals today!

Epic Fail – Summer 2008

A fun summer of 2008 project that me and my friends put together. We had been helping another production company with two larger projects and felt like we just needed to make something ourselves. So we got together and wrote it and shot the whole thing in a week. Speical thanks goes out to Anita Nitoly for getting us a bar to shoot in on such short notice and also to Scott Christian and his band William The Conqueror for the music.

Anomaly – Windsor 48 hour Film Fest 2007

AlphaCarbon Studios Submission for the Windsor 48 hour Film Fest Competition.

This was written, shot, and edited in 2 days. The competition guidlines made us include the following:

  1. The location had to be downtown Windsor
  2. The phrase “Sorry mama, you can’t park that there.” had to be included.
  3. The film festival T-shirt had to be seen.
  4. Time limit was 5min

Do to time limitations in editing many things didn’t end up how we wanted them to. The door knob gaft and colour correction are examples but there are others. So enjoy them, we left them in for the online version so you can enjoy the fun of the competition.
